Keohane House
Burnham, Buckinghamshire.
An example of a traditionally built contemporary house.
Mr and Mrs Keohane and their five children decided to build their own home in 1990 and, following the assistance of Michael Winter in the evaluation of a few sites, bought a plot in Burnham.
The project was build and project managed by Mr Keohane with the support of Michael Winter.
The house provided generous accommodation including five bedrooms with extensive playroom or additional bedroom space on the second floor. The house is of traditional construction with a very high energy saving rating.
After 10 year of occupation the Keohanes, now with additional children, have recently moved onto a larger project and have again appointed Michael Winter as their architect.
